Shiitake Growbag (Lentinula Edodes)
This ever popular mushroom is easy to grow as we have done all the hard work for you over the previous 3 months :) You will need a bucket or somewhere humid but its worth the extra work.
A mushroom kit for the advanced grower as it needs to be grown out of the protective bag, thus making it more prone to contamination and drying out.
This Shiitake variety is the 3790 strain and we find it grows best from 11 - 20 degrees celsius.
To awaken the kit it needs to be put in a fridge or check the kit on arrival and see if small fruiting bodies are visible as the bumpy transit triggers the mushrooms to start fruiting.
