As one door closes another one opens

As I close the doors to the Invermay shop I start my biggest adventure yet. Tasmania has a very distinct food system where most of the growers are in the north and north west of the state but most of the demand is in the south of the state. To counter this I have teamed up with my friend Dean Smith to work at Tunnel Hill mushrooms, this enables me to grow all of my fresh mushrooms again and control the whole process start to finish. My kitchen in Launceston is still certified by the council so I will be splitting my time working at Mt Rumney near Hobart and in Invermay.

I will also look to go back to being able to travel more widely and meet different people at new locations so I have currently paused my trading at Launceston Harvest while I reassess the best way forward. The next month will be a transition period while I get used to new ways of working.
